Barfing Clam

We went to Ocean City for a day during the July 4th holiday weekend.

Spent time with our 4-year old nephew, Cameron. To entertain him at
dinner one night, I invented the "barfing clam" game. This entailed
taking a clam shell, speaking in "clam" voice and eating bits of
food off Cameron's plate to then "barf" them back up with a horrid
retching noise. This, apparently, is high comedy to a 4-year old.

His birthday is next month. I spent an hour yesterday tracking down
a toy clam and some fake food on the Internet, so he can play the
barfing clam game at home. (NOW! THE BARFING CLAM HOME VERSION!)
Note: typing "toy clam" into google comes up with all kinds of
not-for-four-year-olds toys. Who knew?

Necessity Is The Mother

Brilliant ideas I've had over the years:

1) bacon-flavored toothpaste -- thus ending
the whole mint/orange juice conflict in the
morning

2) makeup roll-ups (similar in design to a
fruit roll-up, but matched to your facial
contours and with your colors) -- put it
on and go!

3) not quitting my day job
