Last night, while walking out of the Eisenhower Theater at the Kennedy Center after enjoying the Washington Ballet's spectacular performance of Alice in Wonderland:
Me: "So, what did you guys think?"
Mr. Brutalism: "Man, the Seven of Hearts was really packing some heat."
Me: "Oh My God. I could not take my eyes off him! Do you think that was a codpiece? That must have been a codpiece."
And scene.

You showed remarkable self-control by waiting until you had exited the building. In my family that conversation would have happened during the actual performance...no wonder my family never lets me out of my cage!
