Looks like I'll be upping my contributions to Mason this year: a) A drag queen was named Homecoming Queen. b) University President, Alan Merten, "cornholing":
And re: the drag queen, a little something for the dilettantes to tee hee about:
"Allen grew up in tiny Goochland, Va..."
On a serious note, what kind of coelecanth thinks electing a gender-bending homecoming queen stands in the way of GMU's ascension to greater glory, and doesn't show GMU celebrating diversity?
KevStar -- ha ha "Goochland" -- just a stone's throw away from "Taintburg", no doubt.
I think it is a total celebration of diversity -- and better yet...shows a sense of humor. I was serious when I said I'd be upping my contributions. I think this is fantastic.
It's like when I saw the new president of JHU rollerblading (it was the 90s, rollerblading was "in"), I thought, "There's hope for the nerds afterall!"
If the GMU pres has his picture taken doing a kegstand, you guys should turn over the deed to your house. So much more impressive than that dork who won the Nobel. At least from my perspective.
Gotta run--Have to run some errands in Choadville.
Macker -- Uncle Ron probably would've been the one who dressed like a woman. (I have a memory of him dressing in drag...did that actually happen or did I dream it?)

I hope US News and World Report gets wind of this!
"Top 25 Cornholing Schools in the Country" -- now those are some stats I'd review.
Funny, the expression on his face is similar to South Park's cartoon George Lucas when he's having a go at Indy.

The best kind of coelecanth, that's who!

This is amateur hour. Former JMU Prez Ron "uncle Ron" Carrier would have lunch with us kiddos after downing what appeared to be 10 scoth and waters.

I dunno.....I didn't make it to enough Tri-Sig happy hours to see Uncle Ron in drag :0)
That wasn't Uncle Ron, that was one of the sisters!
Har har. Thanks--I'll be here all night.
