Recently, I was required to get a new professional headshot at work. My team is doing a complete web site overhaul and part of that initiative is getting photos of the exec team that are from the same decade.
After my photo session, I was looking through the proofs with the photographer, who assured me he would fix stray hairs and other minor imperfections in post-production. I asked how much editing he planned to do and he replied, "That's up to you - I can do anything from a minor amount of retouching to a major amount - just let me know."
To which I replied, "I would like the amount of retouching that results in utter disappointment from anyone who meets me in person."
He laughed. I laughed. Although you'd never know I was capable of such an emotion based on the complete lack of smile lines in my photo.
And P.S., I love it!
